Will Smith’s latest video promoting his “You Can Make It” tour has fans raising eyebrows — and not just because of the music.
Viewers pointed out distorted faces, misshapen hands, and glitchy signs in the video, fueling speculation that parts of the cheering crowd were generated by AI. Some called the results “AI slop,” mocking shots of fans holding signs like “Lov U Fresh Prince” that later morphed into “Lov U Fr6sh Crince.” Others questioned why a global star would rely on artificial audiences at all.
Smith’s team hasn’t confirmed whether the footage is actually AI-generated, but the episode highlights growing skepticism online as tools like Google’s Veo and start-ups like Kling and Pika make fabricated videos harder to spot.
Smith’s tour continues through Europe this month, though it remains to be seen whether the crowds on-screen will look as convincing as the ones in the arenas.
